Microsoft
Intellimouse Explorer 8/10

This
optical mouse from Microsoft is very nearly the ultimate mouse. It uses
optical technology to sense movement. It takes thousands of readings per
second firing its red light to determine its position. Without the traditional
mouse mechanism, it moves more smoothly and does not require a special
mousemat. In fact it works on any surface. In addition without so many
moving parts it should last longer, and does not require as much cleaning.
This special Intellimouse Explorer model, has wheel to scroll through
documents. As well as the left and right mouse buttons, there are two
buttons on the left of the mouse. You can configure these through the
Intellimouse Explorer software. I choose to make them forward and backward
buttons in Internet Explorer.
This
is a good mouse especially with optical technology. It does however, not
feel as well built as a Logitech mouse, with the forward and backward
buttons wobbling slightly.
